Waiting on Wednesday: Shades of Earth by Beth Revis

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Breaking the Spine in which bloggers post books they are eagerly anticipating to be released. I can't wait to read what everyone else is waiting on. I know my book wish-list appreciates it! This week, I'm waiting on:

Shades of Earth (Across the Universe #3)
by Beth Revis
To be released January 15, 2013 by Razorbill

Amy and Elder have finally left the oppressive walls of the spaceship Godspeed behind. They're ready to start life afresh--to build a home--on Centauri-Earth, the planet that Amy has traveled 25 trillion miles across the universe to experience. But this new Earth isn't the paradise that Amy had been hoping for. Amy and Elder must race to uncover who--or what--else is out there if they are to have any hope of saving their struggling colony and building a future together. But as each new discovery brings more danger, Amy and Elder will have to look inward to the very fabric of what makes them human on this, their most harrowing journey yet. Because if the colony collapses? Then everything they have sacrificed--friends, family, life on Earth--will have been meaningless. -Summary from Goodreads

Could I be in want of a book any more?! The ending of A Millions Suns had me begging for more. My only gripe is that they have redone the covers for the entire trilogy before the third book has been published! This means that my books will all look different. Not sure I understand their logic. But, yay, less than 6 months!

  2. Lovely choice, I think the second book was better than the first and if this one's better than the second then I'll be blown away :-)
