I'll Be Back

Forgive the clichéd line, but I'll be back online starting tomorrow. That's if everything's gone right. I've been living off of my iPhone and it's been a bit rough, but I've survived.

If you want to follow a bit of my personal, non-blogging life then you can follow me on my old Tumblr or Instagram when I don't put anything on Twitter.

Blog News: I'm Taking a Break from Blogging

Hello lovely readers,

I hope you all understand that sometimes life just gets in the way of things! You won't see me around until the end of September. This is because of a really big move my man and I are making across the country. We're starting afresh. We won't have internet in our home until the end of September and I'm okay with that. Sometimes we've all got to step back and reassess what we've got going on in our lives.

I'm hoping to get a lot of my reading pile read and to maybe try my hand at writing something for myself again. Hopefully, this should be easy to accomplish without the distractions of Youtube and Twitter! Though, because I have Twitter on my phone, you just might see me on there. Just a warning.

Thanks for being understanding! I hope to see you all when I return.

Best wishes for you all,

May Update

This blog has seen quite a bit of change since May began. The new look I gave it a couple weeks ago has been slowly worked on and I've changed up one of my weekly memes. I plan on shuffling around my weekly memes some more in the weeks to come. I feel like I've gotten myself into too many and I'll whittle it down to just a handful. I still want my main content to be the book reviews themselves. My goal for this blog is to post 2-3 book reviews per week.

In other news, this blog has a Facebook page! Please go and 'like' it! I want to do more things with it in the future, but for now follow me on Twitter for the best updates. Also, feel free to grab my new button which I added to my blog this afternoon. Once I reach 100 followers, I have plans to set in motion a pretty awesome giveaway, so spread the word!

Pottermore Shop

Hello all,

I wasn't planning on doing another post today, but as I check regularly on the progress over at Pottermore, I thought I'd share with you some news!

The shop at Pottermore is now open! You can now purchase digital audiobook downloads and ebooks for all platforms for every Harry Potter book! I personally think that this is huge to have ebooks available. I don't think I'll be purchasing them any time soon, but I wondered what your thoughts were. Would you buy anything from this official web store?

Go over to the Pottermore Shop to take a look!

Movie Trailer: The Host

So last week the teaser for The Host film coming out March 2013 was released. The trailer itself isn't so fantastic, nor am I blown away by the choice in casting (the main cast is listed over at IMDB), so I may not have high hopes!

I wasn't as into the Twilight books as I was The Host. I think aliens living in human bodies is just far more interesting and it was more my cup of tea. I have, however, seen most of the movies in the Twilight franchise enough to know that the movie adaptations weren't my favourite and I hope The Host doesn't follow down that path. It has so much more potential! What are your thoughts?

The Hunger Games Movie

Since today is the official release of The Hunger Games movie, I thought I'd dedicate a little blog post to it.

I bought my tickets early for this movie! I'm seeing it tonight and I hope you get to see it soon. I'm very excited, as there are some pretty darn good reviews going for this film. I usually check Rotten Tomatoes before I commit to watching a movie, but that's hard to do when I buy tickets in advance.

I seriously hope this movie lives up to its months and months of hype for the sake of the franchise.

"May the odds be ever in you favor."

Oh, and Team Peeta all the way.

Coming Up Soon

I've read a few books over the last month or two and they need reviewing! So, coming soon to Paperback Fantasies will be:

Divergent by Veronica Roth

Firelight by Sophie Jordan

The Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins

Crossed by Ally Condie

The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare

I expect to have those up this coming week and the week after! Now I just have to finish two of those, but no worries! I've got a long queue of books to collect after I finish reading what I have now.

Happy Reading!
