Stacking the Shelves (#21)

This is a weekly meme (originally hosted by Tynga's Reviews) where I showcase the books I've acquired throughout the last week. These can be purchased, borrowed, or for review!

This week is another quick haul. I just haven't been buying or borrowing a load of books at once. It's probably because we were living on cheap pasta and not shopping for non-necessities so I stave off getting paperbacks and hardbounds. Catch my drift? But now that that time is over, I can hopefully start adding to my collection next week!

Broken by A.E. Rought
For Review

Valkyrie Rising by Ingrid Poulson
E-Book

What did you add to your shelf this week?

  13. Valkyrie Rising is an itch I have got to scratch! Most people like it, but since I'm still unsure, I'm waiting for it at the library, which will take FOREVER. *Sigh* Still, I like your blog! I'm a new follower.

  14. I completely understand that sentiment, but that's why libraries are awesome! And you also don't have to feel guilty if you don't end up liking a book much because no loss at all! I'm seeing Valkyrie Rising all over the place all of a sudden, I look forward to your review!

  15. The other half of The Twins Read duo likes Valkyrie Rising. Nicole said it was a good read, although it seems to be either a hit or a miss for some people. Hope you enjoy it as well!
